I bought two of these primarily to secure a plastic handgun case during local transportation while in my possession. The cable allows it to fit where regular pad locks would not fit. I like that I can set my own combination and don't have to carry additional keys. I'll probably get a couple more for our luggage.

Nice lock for international travelers. I actually bought it for a large storage container I have in my garage. When ordering on-line , it looked like that was the only lock that would fit the container. When I received the container, it became obvious that the container could handle a larger lock. However, I only buy Master Locks! They are the best!

These work well the cable fits into the little area that I needed them to.

In South Africa had the lock on my duffle. Someone unzipped one of the pockets, which was empty, but could not get into the main part of the bag. Worth the dough.

Great for my first time camper on his first scout trip by himself. Wouldn't trust it for heavy duty purposes--felt pretty flimsy and seemed like it would be easy to hack, but code was easy to set, he thought it looked cool, and it worked well for us.

Decent lock for TSA-compliant checked baggage. A little difficult to get numbers lined up to unlock it it other than that just fine. This is not a "security lock" as the cable on the lock can be easily cut off with a pair of wire cutters

Little tricky getting it open. I suppose with some practice it will get easier. Maybe mark which side opens a little better, would help. Nice lock that will suit my needs.

It's only 1 lock. I thought i was getting a set. Should have read the description better.
