Maybelline FaceStudio Master Holographic Highlighter, Opal, 0.24 oz

I bought this highlighter a while ago and is definitely in my top favorites! It has a creamy feel to it, so it doesn't look crusty or dry when applied. It's honestly so pretty by itself or ontop of another highlight for an extra blinding look. Looks best (for photo ops) in natural sunlight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my review. The holographic shade is very cool and I was surprised when I first swatched it. The feeling of this highlighter is super unique, especially for a drugstore product. When you touch it, it feels creamy and almost wet. Personally, this color is more out there than I usually wear but it is a pretty pearly shade with purple, pink ish, and blue ish shimmer. One thing I will say is that if you are not into highlights with glitter this may not be for you. It also makes a pretty eyeshadow. Like I said, not an everyday color for me but the formula definitely feels high quality and is a pretty color.

It's beautiful in the pan and on the skin... however, unless you put a little spritz of setting spray on the brush before application, this stuff will dust right off your face if you touch it. Spray your brush with setting spray first, then tap it in the product, then apply with a tapping motion on the skin where you want it. You can blend the outer perimeters of your highlight to give it a diffused appearance. Don't forget to set it with setting spray. There is one tip if you want a subtle highlight. Do the steps above, then go over it with setting powder... it will give you that nice little kiss of light when you want to look more natural; it also makes highlight on textured skin look less textured.

It comes off a pinkish purple, not what I expected but it has a nice formula

This is the lightest shade which isn’t perfect for me, when applied it has a barely noticeable pink color, and I wanted to love it, but it’s really just all sparkles. The glow is great but the glitter gets everywhere and it’s not hate cute. 3 stars for the gorgeous color, but also because of the glitter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is an amazing product for its price. But its not holographic. Its pearlesent at most. Its shimmering and pretty. It sets well and it has a nice consistency but again it's not holographic, it doesn't reflect a rainbow effect or shift colors. Stop using the holographic tag, is misleading and a disgrace for such an amazing company to just sell products.

Broken and unable to be returned…bummer.

This arrived broken, it was shipped via FedEx and packed in a flimsy plastic bag. I filed for a replacement and that one arrived broken as well. Had to return both of them.

The highlighter arrived completely ruined its was broken the highlighter was everywhere but I fixed it with alcohol so its all better very pretty highlighter long lasting for sure

Ok the color looked perfect! It is what I've been looking for, BUT the pigment is so lacking ITS BARELY SHEER and the fall out is real. By the end of the day it's gone. Missed the mark unfortunately :/
