McCormick Golden Dipt Kosher Scampi Seafood Sauce, 7.5 oz Bottle

They didn't have the scampi (powdered) sauce I wanted, so decided to buy this one. Wasn't cheap either compared to the others. Since it was McCormick, a well trusted brand for good flavor, I decided to purchase it. I guess even the best brands make mistakes...and this is one of them. I can't even described what it tasted like - Id rather not - suffice to say it did not taste good. Or anywhere near there.

The sauce was okay for my shrimp scampi. It Had a good lemon tang and pepper was a nice touch. It did separate a lot as seen in photos and would separate quickly even after giving it a good shake. I recieved the product for free in exchange for this review.

This was a good option for me to throw together a quick, last-minute meal. I was able to grab some shrimp and pasta and just throw it in. No extra seasoning needed. The only thing I didn't love was the salt content. I think I am more sensitive to salt than others, but it would be nice if there was a "low-sodium" option.

Omg It saves so much time. Normally, getting a good scampi flavor means chopping garlic, melting butter, measuring lemon, and hoping the sauce turns out right. With this, I just sauté some shrimp in a pan, pour the bottle over it, toss in cooked pasta, and it's done in under 15 minutes. The flavor is actually pretty good it's got that buttery, garlicky, slightly zesty taste that everyone in the house likes. Even my pickiest eater didn't complain about it

As a mom, there are not enough hours in the day. I certainly try to have a home cooked meal on the table every day, but life gets in the way most times and I have to reach for a delivery app. This scampi sauce erases the need to do that! The sauce is delicious. Perfect balance of flavor and consistency! It coats the shrimp and pasta, and made making dinner a breeze. I highly recommend this sauce! You won't regret it!

Love the flavor and the ingredients on this product also I really love this brand and all their products rspecially their seasonings they're used all the time in my house. I had never heard of this product so I was excited to know I was getting this. I made dinner two days ago and I used this to make some shrimps and spaghetti they came out amazing and flavorful.

The McCormick Golden Dipt Scampi Seafood Sauce is a unique product in that I have not tried other premade scampi sauces to directly compare. However, based on a direct comparison of a homemade shrimp scampi sauce this McCormick sauce shines pretty well without the hassle of buying new ingredients or combining things only to find out you used too much of one and not enough of another. The only critique I would input is the sauce could use more of a butter base versus a soybean oil base. That difference would allow this sauce to come to its full potential. Otherwise, the taste is spot on and is super easy and versatile to use. I would buy this product given the nature of taste and ease of use and I would recommend this product to friends and family to try for themselves.

I love anything that makes dinner quick and easy! This McCormick Scampi Seafood sauce made a shrimp scampi tasty and I didn't have to dirty up a bunch of dishes and prepare it myself. I would buy this again not just for the taste but for the ease of use.
