I was genuinely impressed with the quality of these poppy seeds. The poppy seeds were used to make a poppyseed cake which she baked every year on my birthday. These little gray beauties gave it the crunch that has been missing since I enjoyed her last one! They didn't just "disappear" into the cake itself...they showed up with tiny pops of flavor! Never again will I reduce myself to purchasing plastic bottled poppyseeds.

I got these for free for an honest review. I use them for bagels and lemon poppyseed bread. Do they taste the same as most others that I have used? Yes. But I like knowing that they are organic and non gmo. I would definitely buy these the next time I make bread.

My product is in a glass jar different than the one sample photo. I personally love when my spices are in glass jars over plastic ones. Adding these to the dish I was preparing was very easy with the jars nice sprinkle top. I noticed that these poppy seeds looked like quality, but also that they complimented my dish very well. I'll be purchasing a jar when this one runs out!

When I received these poppy seeds I knew exactly what I wanted to use it for: muffins! I've been on a health journey attempting to replace my favorite foods with healthier options so I knew it would be perfect for protein muffins. I wanted to put an interesting twist to cornbread so we made lemon poppyseed cornbread using McCormick Gourmet Organic poppyseeds. They added a slight crunch and nuttiness to it! I would highly recommend use of this product in other recipes that use poppyseeds. The next plan is homemade bagels!

I received this product for free through McCormick. Excellent for a lemon poppy seed muffin, or anything else you may need to bake! Great quality product, super straight forward. Solid flavors and nice to add texture to any cooking or baking you may be doing.

I added this to a couple items. One being a plain bagel and sprinkling some poppy seeds on it. It helped give the bagel a good crunch but there really wasn't much taste to it which poppy seed doesn't usually have anyways. I also added it to a lemon cake and it gave it a good crunch but again the poppy seed taste was settle.
