McCormick Kosher Celery Salt, 4.0 oz Bottle

I was given the opportunity to try this McCormicks celery salt. It was truly delicious. 've been throwing it on eggs, chicken, along with different soups, and it just makes everything taste better without me having to think about it. It's not overpowering at all, just gives that little extra flavor that makes food taste more put together. Definitely one of those things I didn't realize I was missing. I'll 100% be buying this in place of my old brand.

McCormick kindly gave me this [product] for free so that I could review it. Now, I am not a lover of celery, between the weird stringiness and odd crunch, it just is not my thing. Admittedly, I wasn't too enthusiastic when I was chosen to review celery salt, but I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised and impressed! I decided to use the product in my usual tuna salad recipe in the place of salt and it was delicious! So delicious that my husband, who tolerates tuna at best, asked to have it packed in his lunch for work.

I really love the packaging of this McCormick Gourmet Celery Salt. The bottle feels a little more luxe than regular spice containers and looks nice in my spice cabinet. The celery salt itself tastes great and has a really nice flavor. I used it in my macaroni salad and it added the perfect savory touch. Recently tried celery salt for the first time. Wasn't sure what to expect since it's not typically a seasoning I use when I cook. But it added a good flavor to my dish. It does in fact have salt so make sure you use the appropriate measurement or it will over season your food. It does have a strong flavor

The McCormicks celery salt has a slight hint of celery and is mostly salt. The holes in the shaker seem to be too large for the product. Since this is a salt the holes should be a lot smaller than they are. Overall the product does add some flavor to dishes that it's added to, however I would like to taste a lot more celery than I did.

This is not the item I ordered. Not anywhere near the item I ordered... Dill seed is what I ordered. This is Celery Salt. for what it is, it is a great product. However when substituting, if you don't know what you are substituting for then ask the person buying the item!
