McCormick Kosher Rubbed Sage, 0.5 oz Bottle

I tasted some ground sage in my cabinet that was out of date and it was really bitter so I thought that I would try McCormicks rubbed sage. It smells so good and tastes really good too.

I received this product free to try and provide an honest review. Sage is one of those spices that is not used in a lot of dishes. I used it on some poultry. The product is great and is exactly what it says. The rubbed sage went very well with the poultry. The thing I want to really comment on is the packaging. It was easy to open. The holes at the top are large enough to get the product out. If that still isn't enough, it is really easy to remove the top to use a spoon or anything else to get the spice out of the bottle.

I tried this sage in both pizza dressing and chicken marination, and it worked really well in both. The flavor is fresh and balanced.I've tried, without tasting artificial. It's versatile, easy to use, and quickly enhances the taste of any dish. I would definitely buy it again and would also recommend it to friends and family.

I usually buy store brand generic spices, but given the opportunity to try McCormick's Rubbed Sage has shown me there is more to cooking than buying the cheapest ingredients. Where as I have to use a lot of spice from store brands to get a flavor I'm seeking this Sage definitely goes a long way. The flavor is noticeable but does not dominate the dish, accenting it well.

This sage is excellent quality and I was very happy with it. Sage is a very specific spice that I honestly had a hard time finding in my local supermarkets but it's hard to substitute in the recipes that I love. I added this rubbed sage to my usual holiday recipes and they all came out great. Even opening the jar, the sage smelled great. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend to others.

I used McCormick Rubbed Sage for my Thanksgiving dressing this year, and I was genuinely surprised at how big of a difference it made. I usually buy the inexpensive dollar-store sage and didn't think upgrading would matter much,but wow, was I wrong! As soon as I opened the container, the fresh, strong aroma hit me. It was noticeably more vibrant than any sage I've bought before, and the freshness really came through in the smell. Because it was so potent, I didn't have to use nearly as much, which helped keep the flavor balanced without overpowering the dish. The flavor in my dressing turned out delicious,rich, warm, and perfectly seasoned. After this experience, I can honestly say I'll be spending the extra few dollars to buy McCormick from now on. The quality, freshness, and flavor are absolutely worth it! For transparency, I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion and honestly, it exceeded my expectations.

McCormick Rubbed Sage is top of the line. The quality is the best. Other brands don't compare. I used during Thanksgiving to make my Cornbread stuffing, and the flavors were so much better then all years prior. The only thing different that I used was the McCormick's Rubbed Sage. This is definitely worth buying!

It looked like a jar of lint. Maybe i got the end of a batch. **I contacted McCormick. They were nice and understanding. I quickly received two replacement coupons, $5 value.

I was hoping to use it, I was hoping to use the Sage on a couple of chickens 🐓 that I was cooking up, for an upcoming ‘Pot-Lock', that was being held here at the senior apartments, and it would have been nice to have, to add to the other species while the chickens 🐓 were being slow-cooked, but, the Sage never arrived Thank you

Quality seal was not tightly affixed and container seemed to be missing product. It appeared that the product may have been tampered with.
