This is very convenient to use. Whenever I feel like having a healthy snack, I make guacamole and enjoy it with some protein chips. I received a free sample to try this seasoning mix through bzzagent. My honest review is that I loved this product. If you think you do not like guacamole, you should try this first. This mix with fresh mashed Avacado blows any store bought premade guacamole out of the water. It also couldn't be easier to make this, you just mash 2 avocados, add the mix, stir, cover and set in the fridge for 30 minutes. Easy and delicious! I used my guac to top tater tot nachos. Delicious!!!

I am a huge avocado lover I have to eat one once a day. I was so excited when Bzz asked me if I wanted to try a package of McCormick® Guacamole Seasoning Mix, to sample for free as a Bzz agent. Of course I said yes because, I was so ready to add some zest to my avocado's what a better way than to turn my avocado into guacamole. This guacamole was so easy to prepare using the super simple to follow instructions on the backside of the package. Once I prepared it I enjoyed guacamole on a slice of sourdough bread with melted gouda cheese. WOW! This McCormick guacamole seasoning is bursting with flavor it's definitely going to be on my grocery list from now on. I sometimes over season things and this was the perfect balance of seasoning. The seasoning is definitely a home run for me and I'm looking forward to making it to eat with my Mexican food nights, tacos, also with chips or even veggies to dip as a snack. Made the guacamole how I usually do and I added my preferred seasonings and added this as well and There was a smokiness to the guacamole that I loved. Would definitely buy this at the store there was also bell pepper in the seasoning packet which I thought was cool

The seasoning mix made preparing guacamole quick and convenient, but I found the flavor to be a bit too mild for my taste. It was a good base, but I still needed to add extra lime juice, salt, and pepper to get the stronger flavor I was looking for. I also noticed that letting the guacamole rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes made a big improvement. It definitely helped the flavors blend better and made the seasoning taste stronger and more balanced. I personally like my guacamole with tomato, onion, sometimes cilantro, and jalapeño, so adding those fresh ingredients along with a little extra seasoning helped make it taste much better for me. It mixed well with the avocado and had a nice texture, but on its own it didn't have enough seasoning for me. If you prefer a lighter, more subtle guacamole flavor, this could work well, but if you like bold flavor, you may need to add a few extra ingredients. Overall, it's a good product for convenience, but I would personally adjust the seasoning to make it more flavorful.

I received this as a free sample - thanks BzzAgent! - and am glad I tried it. I love all Mexican food and love the table side guac you can get at a good Mexican restaurant. This seasoning packet was decent - not overwhelming with any one flavor; but would love it with a little bit more spice! That may just be personal preference though - the rest of my family enjoyed it. We used it plain with cantina style chips and again to top nachos.
