Great topping, lots of flavor! I sprinkled some on top of the cold foam in my iced coffee and it was delicious. Looking forward to using it for Christmas baking. McCormick should seriously consider making the finishing sugars permanent!
I tried the McCormick Salted Caramel Finishing Sugar with apple slices, coffee, a creamy foam drink, desserts, oatmeal, pancakes, and baked goods, and everything was very delicious. The salted flavor is very light, which makes it taste even better because it balances the sweetness without being too strong. It adds a nice caramel touch and makes simple snacks and drinks feel more special. I would definitely recommend it!
I received this product for review. The finishing sugar is very pleasant, with a smooth caramel taste and a subtle saltiness. I tried it on pancakes, toast, yogurt and pudding, and it worked well in all of those capacities. It is an enjoyable product and I will purchase it again.
I tried this product three ways. The first was on my toast with butter, I usually use a cinnamon/sugar mixture but decided to give this a try and it did not disappoint. The caramel added and extra surprising flavor. The second was on popcorn with butter. Sometimes I like my popcorn a little sweet, after you butter the popcorn sprinkle this sugar mixture on and give it a good toss. It was just sweet enough without being overwhelming. The third was to use it on my iced coffee and as cold foam. I frothed it with some heavy cream and it gave it just enough sweetness without needing to use all those heavy strong syrups. Definitely surprised me with a great sweetness without being over the top. It is worth a try of your looking for something to add a little smile to your face.
I had the chance to try the McCormick Salted Carmel Finishing Sugar and I'm in love with it! I sprinked on cupcakes, cakes, pancakes, and waffles, and even on icecream. It has a light salt taste that blends perfectly with a light Carmel sweetness. I'm definitely going to buy this and the other flavors!
If you're looking for a simple way to elevate everyday treats, this salted caramel finishing sugar is a must-have. The flavor strikes a perfect balance between sweet and salty, with a rich caramel note that feels indulgent without being overpowering. I especially love sprinkling it over my morning coffee—it adds a subtle crunch and transforms a regular cup into something that tastes like a café treat. It's just as delicious on fruit desserts too. A light dusting over baked apples, sliced pears, or even vanilla yogurt brings out natural flavors and adds a gourmet touch with almost no effort. The texture is light and crisp, making it ideal as a finishing sugar rather than something that melts away instantly. It's a small upgrade that makes a big difference in both presentation and taste. Highly recommend keeping this in your pantry for those little moments when you want something extra special.
This absolutely impressed me so much! The shining example is to top off your ice cream sundae with it. The crunch and the flavor make it a huge hit. It is also a great addition to make a coffee feel special. I can imagine making a gift basket for friends inspired by this product. I highly recommend this product.
This seasoning is amazing. I have put it on my popcorn, waffles, in my coffee and my milk. It is a sweet and salty mix. I would recommended it to anyone and everyone. McCormick has never let me down and this seasoning shows why I keep using this brand. I did get the product for free to write a review about it but once it runs out I plan to buy it again.
I've tried to up my home coffee game by trying different flavorings and creamers but after seeing one of my local coffee shops add some spices on top of my latte, I thought of trying something similar for my own setup. I've seen diy recipes for similar toppings, but I wanted something convenient for mornings when I'm in a rush. Even with my best attempts, I'd never be able to make a DIY version of the salted caramel, and when I pair it with a hazelnut creamer, my latte instantly tastes professionally made for a fraction of the cost! It's a small touch but it really makes all the difference in flavor! I've even tried adding it as a light dusting for my sourdough cinnamon rolls, and it really adds to the overall taste profile. I was skeptical because it seems like just sugar to me, but the caramel actually comes through nicely. Even though I don't use it every day, it's nice to have the option to add different flavors to my coffee outside of the usual creamers!
This item is a fantastic addition to whatever you're baking that needs a little extra oomph! The salted caramel flavor is great and something that I wouldn't say is TOO overpowering but not subtle. There isn't much to do but just sprinkle the amount you'd like and serve after your goods are done. The only thing that I would say is that they are quite hard and like a crystal rock sugar, so try to disperse and do not serve to people who may have dental issues. Otherwise - this is to be enjoyed!
