McCormick Chocolate Hazelnut Finishing Sugar, 3.61 oz Bottle

It took me a few days to decide what I wanted to try to make using this and decided a baked good was the way to go! The flavor it added to my snickerdoodle cookies was unreal! It was like I had added Nutella to them without the heaviness! Definitely buying this one (and some others!) again!

In fact, this finishing sugar is an easy way to modify a store-bought dessert to customize it and make it a bit more special. The flavor is perfection. It is chocolate and nutty but not overpowering and won't add noticeable sweetness to your dessert, despite being sugar. It's super easy to use on anything - just sprinkle it on! I have used it on brownies, cookies, and ice cream. I will say that depending on the "firmness" of your dessert, the sugar may not stick well to it, so keep that in mind, especially for after-market treats. I will be buying additional flavors of finishing sugar to have some variety on-hand!

I didn't expect a finishing sugar to steal the spotlight from a chocolate tres leches cake—but McCormick's chocolate hazelnut finishing sugar absolutely did. I sprinkled it over the chocolate tres leches cake, and it gave it the perfect touch. Overall, it turned a classic tres leches into something that felt just a bit more modern and memorable. Definitely not just a garnish it's a finishing touch that actually finishes the dish.It tastes like Nutella!

This seasoning is so delicious. It's a subtle flavor but i love using this to top my coffee and matcha beverages. It's easy to use and makes having your daily coffee a treat! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an easy way to add more flavor.

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. I admit, I did struggle to find ways to use the finishing sugar but found that it was a tasty topper on toast and even cereal. I made sugar cookies specifically to use this on and they were really tasty! This finishing sugar has a great balance of sweetness, hazelnut, and chocolate.

I loved the taste of this finishing sugar BUT it tastes more like a mocha flavor rather than hazelnut. Despite that, I tried this on various foods such as coffee (it adds just a bit of sweetness), on top of ice cream, chocolate cake and hot chocolate. It does taste really good and other family members agreed. Most definitely a product that I will definitely purchase again.

I make plain cheesecakes for friends and family. My sisters are diabetic. So, I cut back on sugar. However, I discovered these beauties and a light dusting of this woke the taste buds back up. Good on cookies, cake , on pancakes or waffles. Leave one for me on the shelf. :-)

It's a nice topping for desserts, but my favorjte way to use this was to top cold foam on an iced coffee. Made for a Starbucks at home type of experience! Texfure is granular but not chunkh. Sprinkles easily during use.

I would have liked the texture to be a little more coarse. The scent was a bit artificial but the flavor was good, with hints of chocolate and hazelnut. This would be perfect on scones, cookies, ice cream, or a latte. I appreciate the opportunity to try this for free and would be open to purchasing it in the future.
