It is chocolate and nutty but not overpowering and won't add noticeable sweetness to your dessert, despite being sugar. It's super easy to use on anything - just sprinkle it on! I have used it on brownies, cookies, and ice cream. I will say that depending on the "firmness" of your dessert, the sugar may not stick well to it, so keep that in mind, especially for after-market treats. I will be buying additional flavors of finishing sugar to have some variety on-hand!
