It doesn't taste exactly like restaurant style beef and broccoli but I think that it's a good thing, it has more seasoning, flavor and depth. The one negative I would say is that it didn't get very thick and I feel like it should have so I added cornstarch to the sauce to thicken it more at the end. I served with a fried rice and added mushrooms as well.

Maybe I received a bad packet. I am astonished at the reviews that said this was good. There was 95% garlic and 2 % hot red pepper and 3% miscellaneous seasoning. Not just garlic flavor, but actual minced garlic. Totally ruined my beed and broccoli. I tried to add soy sauce and terriaky sauce to better the taste but neither could stand up against the garlic. I normaly make my own sauce( which is very simple and tasty) but decided to try this. I'll stick with my own. As I said, maybe I got a bad packet. You can try for yourself since it is not that expensive, but I ened up removing the steak from the sauce catastrophe.
