McCormick Vanilla Bean Paste, 1.98 oz Tube

McCormick vanilla bean paste is great . I made a cheesecake , a couple pie's and some pastries. what ive tasted so far is delicious. I think grandkids will like them.

Fast shipping but can't believe I couldn't find this in the store. It tastes great although I haven't used it yet in a recipe I needed it for.

This is a game changer for espresso martinis! Of course it's great for other things too, but my favorite is adding a tiny bit to the cocktail shaker because this is a pure vanilla flavor and doesn't have a weird after taste like vanilla extract would

Compared to vanilla extract, this brings the vanilla flavor ten fold! I am thrilled to add this to my kitchen staples for the future.

I love using this in any dish calling for vanilla. I love the beautiful golden flecks it leaves in icings and the extra oomph that it puts behind my vanilla. It's also super easy to dispense- especially if you just measure your vanilla with your heart.

I really love McCormick® Vanilla Bean Paste! It has a rich, delicious vanilla flavor and the little vanilla bean specks make baked goods look extra special. I've used it in cookies, cakes, and frostings, and it adds a wonderful depth of flavor without being overpowering. The 1.98 oz size is also convenient to keep in the pantry. Definitely a great addition for anyone who loves baking!

Very small and the price was a little much. It does the job and taste good but too expensive for the tiny package.

First, I did receive this product in exchange for my review but all opinions are mine. I tried this vanilla bean paste in plain oatmeal to get an accurate read on the flavor without other spices or flavoring competing with it. Using the paste, the vanilla smell is very noticeable and promising. It smells sooo delicious. Visually, the dark vanilla bean specks can be seen and it didn't clump up when stirred in the oatmeal. Again, looked very promising! However, the actual taste fell flat. There was virtually no noticeable vanilla flavor. If I used this in a cookie or cake recipe, I would be disappointed if the end result was not tasting the vanilla or having to use double (or more) the needed amount just to get a small hint of it. Overall, I would say that this wouldn't be the first vanilla bean paste that I would reach for. It would be good if needed in a pinch, but not a must have.

i suppose this is actually my fault for not double checking the ingredients before I bought it, but the main ingredient is sugar. i avoid sugar. if i had realized, i wouldn't have ordered it

I consider myself a vanilla connoisseur, I mainly use it in plain Greek yogurt for breakfast cups. in comparison to the vanilla that I used, this still has a slightly more processed taste. the consistency is a little bit watery. where's the one that I use is a bit thicker like there's a bit more processing to this. I don't hate it, but I don't love it and I definitely would not buy this over my preferred vanilla because the amount at the price point is also not so good in comparison, especially considering the quality.
