Mecity Compact Coffee Maker for Ground Coffee & Loose Tea - Single Serve, 6-12 Oz Brew, Black

Originally ordered a Keurig that Walmart had on sale at Christmas time but never received it because Walmart ran out. Ordered the Mecity Compact Coffee Maker instead - and glad I did. I use it multiple times a day and absolutely love it. Best of all, it was cheaper and included accessories that had to be ordered/bought separately with the Keurig! It's a quality single use drink maker and well worth the money. Highly recommend it.

my other coffee maker broke so I was using the old fashioned kind that makes you have to make 12 cups great big monster then I get this beautiful coffee maker at a lower price I love it I love it I love it so far I tried it with just water going through and I love it I love it I love it I'm so freaking happy.

I appreciate the two capsule holders for either k cups or ground coffee. My only problem is that I have a hard time knowing when it's actually brewing? Takes a few pushes of the power button but that's not a real complaint and probably just user error I'm not used to it yet. I bought the pink one and it is cute! I bought this on sale for $35 USD instead of $80 and I think I wouldn't buy this at full price but I like it.

I love the color! It's the perfect size for my office and it's very quick to heat up and handles the coffee pods just like a the name brand pod maker without the hefty price. The only thing that could make it better is if it came in mint green color to match my office.

Love this item. Push button: very hot coffee in 1 minute! I bought a tall mug to prevent potential splashing. It's just great. Also, it's a very stylish modern compact design. I'm now using the dark roast K-cups for more full-bodied coffee, with the water chamber filled to max. The only fault I find is that it is difficult to clean the k cup hole, but perhaps the descaler liquid will do the job. In the meantime, I use a long cotton q tip.

After a few days of use the lid where the grounds go has stained and I cant get it off. It is quick and a real space saver but the coffee is not hot. I have had several single serve coffee makers and I believe this is the worst (not bad) I have ever owned. I purchased because it was white and seemed like a good value.

A demonstration about how poorly a user interface can be designed. The basket for adding the ground coffee must have been designed by a left handed engineer. (I'm right handed). Due to the way the cover is hinged on the right, I find I must remove the basket and its receptacle in order to add coffee. When emptying the grounds they do not fall out easily. This is because there is insufficient taper on the basket so the grounds tend to stick in it. Also, the basket is hot after making the coffee and there is no handle on it so it is necessary to wait until it cools off. This is a nuisance if one wants to make 2 cups of coffee. The electronics and controls all seem good. Sadly it appears that no one ever tried to use the product before they put it on the market.

The product is misrepresented. It is not stainless steel, It is completely plastic! It has worked decently when I first got it, until now. It throws the k-cup coffee grounds out the sides and front..dripping down into your coffee cup. Water drips out as well. You have to be careful because it shoots out steam from the sides as well! I won't even try using the regular coffee grounds since it does this with k-cups. It is very messy!

After reading the enclosed instructions, I realized this was not what I expected. I was under the impression that I would be able to use my k-cup coffee pods, but that is not possible with this product. I returned it for a refund and will buy something else.

I didnt like anything about this coffee maker. 1.Once the basket comes out it doesn't go back in. 2. All the coffee or Moca stays inside the machine.But you would never see it if you didnt take the basket out. 3.Push the button 2 or 3 times to get it to start. This is the worst coffee maker i have ever had. It was a Huge waste of money.
