This was not a name brand I was familiar with, but I took a chance, and I'm so happy I did! To begin it's very attractive sitting on the counter! I love that I set the toast color I want, and it toasts perfectly each time. It has a digital counter that counts down the time - no more having to cancel to check and then push button down again. Highly recommend!

Love that this toaster is manufactured in the USA. This toaster is easy to set toasting options and has digital clock to show time left for toasting. I prefer my bagels toasted on both sides, so I toast on regular. My husband prefers only one side toasted so he uses bagel button. I would recommend this product.

I had to replace a toaster that mysteriously burnt up (stated smoking %26 burnt up bread), no fire, I threw it out. I waited awhile to try a new toaster. I'm very happy on day two with Mercity. Per these instructions: set the dial, don't keep plugged in (I use surge protector), etc. I was surprised instructions were only in English as everything is in multiple languages--but that's not my business. Seems like a great product.

the Mecity 2 slice toaster is very nice fits bagels well along with toast. the instructions have pictures of doneness to go with each setting. The digital window shows you setting and then a timer for your toast so you know how much time you have to do or cook something while waiting. Has a pop up warming shelf I doubt I will use it but might be nice to just warm a roll. Overall worth the reasonable price.

The toaster looks nice n sleek, the digital display is easy to read and the timer is a nice feature. Slots are wide enough for a bagel and the warming tray is unique. The only problem I've had is that the toaster does not toast both sides perfectly every time, although close enough.

Best inexpensive toaster I have ever had. Love the countdown timer. Bagel function is really terrific. This is the first toaster I have ever had that heated the whole thing for 1 minute and then turned off the outer heaters to finish the timer on the bagel. This works awesome for hamburger buns. I keep my hamburger buns in the fridge and I drop one in here and turn on bagel mode. It heats the whole bun for 1 minute and finishes the rest of the time with just the inner elements. So I get a burger bun that is toasted nicely on the inside, but is fluffy and warm but not toasted on the outside. I would buy this again. Very very happy. Works great.

I love this toaster! Its very easy to use and comes with several settings. I used the defrost on my frozen breakfast and it worked perfectly. It fits my begals and regular toast and heats evenly on both sides. It has a begal feature so you can heat just one side of your begal. Timer displays with count down so you know exactly when it's going to be done. I haven't used the over head rack yet but it pops up easily when I messed with it. I'm sure it'll be great when I need it. Also, if you push the lever up after toasting it will stay up so it's easier to get your product. I HIGHLY recommend.

The toaster is very nice looking. It does a fairly good job of evenly toasting both sides of the bread. But like all toasters i've ever owned, the bread is not perfectly evenly toasted. The optional warming rack on top comes in handy. When turning the timing knob, it would be helpful to see the toasting time before the toasting begins. It would also be helpful to allow the bread to be lifted out farther with the push down handle when toasting is finished.

This attractive toaster looks and works great. When you depress the lever the power level is displayed for about 6 seconds and then the countdown timer is displayed. My only complaint is that the power cord comes out the side near the front rather than at the rear where it should be. Overall this toaster is an excellent value.

Had it about a week and tried to toast some bread and sparks flew and went completely dead.
