This blanket is sold as flame retardant and is quite stiff. The softer ones are more expensive. This one may not be as comfortable but we have sheets to put under it. Plus, it's a good size and a very welcome addition to our winter emergency tote!

This twin size wool blanket is nicer than i thought it would be for the price. This blanket is well made and very warm. sells on other sites for much more. I keep one in my car in the winter. Its the warmest blanket you can by. Its also a must have in winter if you experience power outages. This ones nice at a fraction of the cost. I would say these wont last long with winter arriving soon. I will be recommending this blanket to all my family and friends.

I got this for a buddy of mine he's a smoker so I'm glad it's flame resistant

The blankets are even heavier and nicer than expected!! Now a days, thats is very unusual!!!

Awesome, super warm, and heavy duty wool balnket. was just what I was looking for. 1 complaint is they came smelling of diesel fuel, oil, exhaust. I dunno if its from where they where stored, or if they where coated in something maybe something spilled on them. They had to be aired out, and treated with odoban. Smell still lingered, but that is only compliant, and at this price. I can deal with it

I gave this as a Christmas gift. This was for inside a motorhome. I was told "you give the most perfectest gifts!"

It is not going to win any beauty contest. I did not expect it to. It is perfect for practical low price go to life saving and is kept in my vehicle for emergency. very cheap insurance in that way. solid product and no bells or whistles.

okay, but sheds a TON in the dryer...

I thought that this item would be equivalent to a used Army blanket. However this blankets texture is much coarser, rougher, stiffer, and heavier than an Army blanket. While I don't dislike it enough to send it back, I was disappointed that it's more like the blankets you use in the back of a U-Haul truck to protect your furniture from damage, than a blanket you would put on your bed.

The blanket smelled like mothballs when I got it. I washed it and it started to crumble and still smelt like mothballs. Very poor product. The blanket was extremely dusty. It left small particles wherever I set it down. I had to vacuum up the particles.
