Bought as a gift for my nephews. The box is way bigger than I thought and very heavy. It looks very engaging and fun. It comes with a ton of figures and all the boys want is to battle their pokemon so I know this is gonna be a hit!
my kids loved it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son had a lot of fun building this pokemon battle stadium. It kept him busy and entertained a few evenings after school. The 5 characters included were very much of his liking. He enjoyed battling with his brother and friends. It was definitely a hit at our pool party this past weekend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mega makes a great product and we love the interactive features of the completed training stadium! This was the most complicated set my son has built. He worked on it in many sessions over three weeks. If you need to move it around, the box it comes in is a great base. The instructions and packages of blocks are well thought out and easy to follow. When I asked my son for his review he gave two thumbs up and said, “Not just building it, we get to play with it too.” My son enjoys battling the Pokémon and using the shooting puck feature! Parts of it are fragile, but you can still play with the completed set carefully. It would really be a great display piece! I recommend this Mega Pokémon Training Stadium for many hours of engaging fun constructing and then playing with the completed build.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mega Pokemon Stadium is a high quality building block play set. I helped build some of the set and was impressed with how well the blocks interlock. The instructions are clear and very easy to follow. The model stadium battle is fun, trying to shoot the opponents targets. Overall a lot of fun building the set and playing with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many pieces!! Loved that there were so many pieces and the set was so large. It was an absolute hit with my son. He loves Pokemon and he loves Legos! Both all wrapped into one, can't beat that!! My son played for hours…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This will definitely keep your big boys entertained with so many pieces! Forced them to be creative and exercises their brain. My boys use teamwork to strategize ways to complete the stadium while taking some breaks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun set, I was surprised by all the cool detail it had. My son really enjoyed building it. It held his attention and the instructions were very well thought out. He loved how it came with so many pokemon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited about this set! The photo is a little misleading as it appears to be a two level set, but that's not a big deal as it was a perspective shift. My son enjoys this set and loves having so many little Pokemon figures included. One of the figures' wings ripped very easily so he has to pinch the rubberized piece between two blocks to allow the cape/wings piece to stay secured. Also the set doesn't allow for the proper shooting, as described by my son. The pieces become dislodged easily taking away the ability to preform the action. Otherwise, my son enjoys this set, thought it was easy to build and has since purchased additional companion sets to additional play.
Really cool looking but WAY too fragile. There's way to many pieces that are held by only 1 or 2 studs. If you try to move it, large pieces just fall apart. My kids can't actually use it to play with because it's so fragile which is really disappointing to them (one of them got it for their birthday). If more thought went into how strong the connections would be or if it came with a large piece for everything to be built on, it would have been a great item. I wouldn't recommend unless you're older and don't intend to play with it. It says 8 and up, but kids that age don't understand this is a model and parents buying it don't always expect that either. Regarding the photos I attached, it's hard to show these issues, especially because it's so fragile and holding it to show some of the problem areas is risky
