I used these in Sunday School. I bought two sets. The kids were split into 2 teams, boys against the girls. They raced creating animals as fast as they could within a certain time. They loved it!
Already bought some for my grandson, he loves them so I got some more since sets can be mix %26 match.

The colors are playful and help in the cognitive development of kids. It is easy for little hands to handle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Blockables are so cute! My 3 year old really enjoyed playing with these. Being able to build your own animals really adds to the fun. And I love that the box doubles as storage and a play area, such a great idea. We love wood toys in our household and this one really seems like it’ll stand the test of time.

My two and half year old figured it out quickly and played with it for awhile. The pieces are large and there was no choking concern. Like over Melissa and Doug products they are well made. Based on the size of the box I expected more parts or animals but it was less than half full.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The is a cute, self contained set that would make a good gift. I think the labelling of 2+ years is appropriate. Even then, kids have a wide range of fine motor ability at that age and I think the plastic connectors might be tricky for some kids. My 2YO did like that the pieces all fit together and she had a good time with it.
