Melissa & Doug Pets Wooden Chunky Puzzle (8 Pcs) - FSC-Certified Materials

These are Melissa and Doug line of toys. This is a wooden puzzle done painted in bright colors. The grandkids love it and play with it over and over. I purchased this puzzle for my one year old grandson. He loved it. Because of the chunky raised pieces, it was easy for him to hold on to compared to a tiny wood peg like a lot of wood puzzles have.

Love the Melissa and Doug wooden puzzles for my kids. Have had some of these for 13 years and they are still in perfect shape! Very durable and great quality!

I have not opened the puzzle to check the quality but visually it looks very good. I like the thick chunky pieces and it looks like it gives opportunity to play with the individual pieces and maybe draw around them. I had and returned another puzzle when I saw that the pieces were very thin.

I love wooden toys. The thick pieces are easy for little hands to handle. I purchased it for a 1 year old and he loves it.

It's a beautiful well made puzzle, but for a toddler it's quite dangerous. The pieces are very thick and heavy which is great for older kids, but toddlers love to throw things so they turn into weapons. Even if my granddaughter is playing with it on my lap and I am on top of her, these flying puzzle pieces aren't worth the damage they can cause to other things in the room or my face. lol

I purchased quantity of 25, paid for 25. But I only got 22. I contacted customer service and they said will investigate but it has been 3 weeks and still haven't heard from them.

The paint on these puzzles is very low quality. It was already flaking off in the packaging and some of the paint was hanging off the sides of the pieces. When I opened the puzzle, the dog piece already had chunks of paint missing.
