Melnor Oscillating Sprinkler with Brass Nozzles

This is a nice sprinkler with adjustable range both front and back and on the sides. I am please with its performance and price.

I had a better experience than others. I found the adjustments on the dial easy to figure out. I turned it on and adjusted it as it was moving. I have a small patch of garden and I used the full range. When I put the water on hard enough to reach the ends of the bed, it was too wide and was hitting the house and sidewalk. To solve this issue, I broke off a wooden toothpick in both of the end holes to close them off, narrowing the spray range. Beats moving around a small sprinkler. I can set this one for 30 minutes and I am done.

It's okay. Kind of built cheap and takes some diddling around to eventually get it set properly, but it does the job. Not a long term investment.

The knob to adjust the water spray is cumbersome to configure. If you turn just a notch the whole spray area changes. The dial has some diagrams on it but they do not appear to correspond to the actual setting. I've used cheaper ones before which were better than this one.

After a year in the sun and weather it doesn't work well. However, I guess this is par for the course. I have had expensive ones and cheap ones. I get about a year out of each one.

Useless water gauge unless it is set on perfectly level ground. Water coverage misleading since it all depends on your pressure.

Adjustments to sprinkler direction are very hard to determine and to make. However, when it worked it work fine. However, this is my second purchase of this sprinkler. I have to move sprinkler a number of times since I have a large lawn. Each sprinkler broke off in the same way and place where the hose attaches to the sprinkler

You get what you pay for. Very cheaply made. Breaks very easy. Night as well spend more to get something that wont break the first time you use it.

they use pictures to select settings. I could not find full setting, just the narrow, which is worthless. Why not just mark left, right full. Sorry this sprinkler was purchased.
