The camera fit's perfectly above my front door and was simple to install. I do wish the cord was a tad bit longer tho. The app was easy to download and set up with my information. The camera was easy to link to my WiFi with no issues or stalling. This camera is the perfect way to see who is at my door when I'm not home and to keep and eye on my mail and packages being delivered.

I've been wanting a camera for my yard for a while. This camera is everything those expensive ones are at a fraction of the cost. It works great during the day. However I have it behind a window screen so it's not very clear behind the screen. Wish it was suitable for outdoor use. Would love a longer cord but an extension cord works just as well. I recommend this camera to anyone needing to keep an eye on things.

Great little camera. Motion detect is fantastic. Hooked up to the geenie app smoothly. No monthly subscription required. Can use sd card to save video or if you want cloud service its like $2 a month. When motion is detected it takes a screen shot and saves it to the app and from there you can save to the phone. There is no charge for for the snapshots taken by motion detection. I have this in a window (glass only no screen) inside my apartment pointed out on to my back porch and I get perfectly clear images and live stream. And its so small and sleek its barely noticible. I am going to get more for the rest of the house.

Nice security camera that's inexpensive. it's not wireless, works great. I'm kind of techy so setting up the app and the cameras was not a problem for me. 720p is very clear. you can hear clearly and you don't have to pay a monthly subscription like other systems.

Review of Merkury Innovations Smart Wi-Fi camera 720 p. This camera is about 4.5 inches high. IMPORTANT: This is required to be plugged into an outlet for power. The power cord reaches about 3.5 feet. This has a "flexible stem" so that when you mount the base of it, you can bend the actual camera part whatever angle you need it to be. (This comes with a 3M mounting adhesive.) It was very easy to download the app and get this camera up and running in just a few steps. So I will give it five stars for the ease-of-use feature alone. The video quality on this is clear. On the video screen it has an indicator of signal strength (i.e. 98% or whatever). This automatically detected the correct date and time/time zone upon setup, without me having to set it up myself. So the timestamp on the video is correct. This will hold a microSD chip. I have included a picture of FAQs from the instruction manual that gives a detailed explanation of memory card use versus using his camera without an extra memory card (not included). This does have night vision feature. The video quality at night is as good as the day quality. Please note that the blue indicator light on this camera stays on all the time. At night a red indicator light also comes on. (Edit: You can turn off the blue indicator light by going under the "basic feature settings". The only way to turn off the red indicator light for night vision is to turn the night vision feature itself off, which of course would mean you will not be able to see anything in the dark.) This has the option to turn "motion alert" on or off. If you turn this feature on, and motion is detected by the camera, you get a notification sent to your home. It is great to be able to access a home security camera live from my smartphone anywhere anytime. The description also says that you can have a two-way conversation over the camera, but I have not had a chance to try out that feature yet. I am pleased with this product.

I did not expect much for this inexpensive little camera. It was much smaller when I got it out the box then I had imagined it would be. It was very simple to set up. Download the app. Plug up the camera. Follow the direction to connect it to your wifi and then tweak the settings how you want them. I like that the camera can be turned to pretty much any angle you want. You can even mount it upside down. Add a sdcard so you can record as well. It will take screenshots too. I really like this camera and it is great for our needs. I plan to get a few more. If you are looking for a super high quality camera for your business this may not be for you. For my home the camera image is pretty good.

I gave four stars because this was a little hard to set up at first I had to move it into different rooms to see where we could put it but once we got it to load and configure it was perfect the picture is actually pretty good sound is good we are able to see clearly we do have this in our bedroom so I didn't post a picture of that part but it does work really well we also have a ring doorbell and I would say this is just as good for the price range if you want something a little more clear with the camera then maybe find something else but for this price range this camera is perfect for indoors I'm actually really impressed with this camera so if you're a beginner or you have a small budget this is definitely the camera for you I like being able to check on my dog when I'm not home and this also gives good motion detection so that's really nice and you can share this with your family and add them to your account so to me hands down great camera

I love that this camera is very small and I’m able to tuck it away so that it’s not out in the open, but it could use a longer chord to be able to reach to various counter heights. The picture quality is ok, but there is so much camera lag. The camera freezes so much. I don’t believe it’s my internet because I don’t have a problem with anything else connected to our home’s WIFI network. I do like that I am able to have a two-way communication with others using the camera microphone and speakers as well as control the device through the app for my smartphone.

I had high hopes for this camera and was really excited to use it. I have spent hours trying to connect the camera and have tried all of the troubleshooting tips with no success. I called customer support a few times and sat waiting to connect with someone for help, but never got anyone. I have a router that has both 2.4 and 5 wifi, and even though I was trying to connect the camera to the 2.4 like it's supposed to, I have read other reviews where the customers were actually able to get in contact with a customer support member and was told that you need to have a router that only has the 2.4 and suggested that they buy a new router. So maybe that is the problem in my case, but I am not going to purchase a whole new router just to support this camera.

Took almost an hour to connect to my 2.4 Wi-Fi! I can view the camera feed at home, but if I get an alert when I am not home it will not let me see the live feed, just a still photo. I want to be able to see my feed from anywhere not just while I am at home!
