I absolutely love these refried beans. I do not understand why I never find these in stores in Texas when they are made in El Paso. The only store I have ever found them was in Arizona. That doesn't make sense. :( Also, is it just me or does no one sell dehydrated beans in the stores anymore of any kind? Why? I love it as a shelf stable food to have around and it's super convenient to use and cook with.

Better than canned refried beans!!
Great as a side with Mexican food and to help thicken taco/tortilla soups. I use less water than it says when using it as a side dish, otherwise they are very runny. (Usually start with 1-1/2 cups and add as needed up to to 1-3/4 cups total)

My son loves this, easy to use a little at a time or the whole thing. Just add water no can opener needed.

It's fast to make and we like the taste. I go to this product instead of making a fresh pot of beans that takes long to make.

Great to have in the pantry, Tastes better than canned, just add some lard. Nice chili flavor.
