I was a little skeptical of this barbell because of other reviews talking about no branding and rust and oil all over the bar. Luckily, my barbell didn't have any rust, no oil and was fully branded. The barbell has some pretty good whip to it. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Great and solid bar! Only had it for a week, but it seems very well made and the knurling (grip area) has just the right amount of grip and spacing. I also like the look; it matches my rack colors, and it not just plain old chrome plated. Bearings seem very smooth and the ends have some texture to them so the weight plates won't just slide off.

I seriously love this bar. It looks good, knurling is not super aggressive, and collars spin for days. The latter are coated with something sticky like to keep the plates from sliding. Will see if it lasts under weight. It came nicely packaged and looks exactly as pics with all the branding.

It delivered earlier than what it supposed be, it came in 5days early. Also, package was clean and no damage on the box. Good barbel but red paint is coming off from the barbell.

Great bar well made feels as good as anything but the coating is trash garbage your hands will rub it off. Had it two weeks lifting 4or 5x a week three exercise workouts.

Sadly, I was let down by its condition upon arrival. The product was was low quality. Rust was visible beneath the red paint, which is unacceptable for a new item. The shaft under the sleeve was especially rusted, raising concerns about durability and integrity. It only had 2 bearings instead of 8. I expected better quality control from Mikolo and Walmart. A new barbell should be pristine and ready for use, not riddled with rust issues. Their solution was a $30 dollar reimbursement. I cannot recommend this product in its current state. I hope my experience was a rare glitch, but I'd suggest looking elsewhere for an Olympic barbell until Mikolo improves their quality assurance. For now, consider other options if you need reliable gym equipment.

The barbell is nice and heavy duty, but mine didn't come with the Mikolo logos at each end of bar.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the item received does not match the images on the product page. There is no branding whatsoever on the barbell which leads me to believe it is a knockoff. Additionally, the black paint is already starting to come off (on arrival) and the rubber band on the sleeve collars do not fit properly.

This bar came saturated in some form of oil/grease that took me forever to clean off. The red paint came off with the oil, not only that, the names for the product were not on the end cap, not around the shaft nor in the middle. Makes me think I got a knock off sent to me. Also, When spinning the shaft it grinds as if they used ball bearings from the dollar store. Not sure where all these five star reviews came from, but I think you’d be better off buying a cheap bar from Dick’s for $80.
