Machine is very heavy duty for the price. The plastic pulleys may have a little less "commercial gym" feel to them, but once oiled, they're very smooth and work very well. One of my concerns with several other machines was the smith machine bar not going low enough to have a full range of motion with deadlifts and hip thrusts, but this machine does not have that issue. The safety stops go quite low and don't interfere with any exercises. The cables are very easy to raise and lower. Exercises like a crossover reverse fly or lateral raise are great on this machine with the 1:1 pulley ratio. The storage for the weight plates is a tiny bit flimsy, but does hold them in place. I use CAP weight plates and was able to fit two 10lbs, two 15lbs, two 25lbs, two 35lbs and one 45lb plate. The 2nd 45lb plate is kind of "outside" of the last upright holder, but still has enough room to sit on the edge, keeping it off of the floor at least. Overall, it's a very nice looking machine, has great functionality, and I believe will truly help most people accomplish effective workouts at home. I will update if there's any "issues" or inconveniences that I notice once I use it more and have it for a longer period of time.
