wiring needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They worked super for my solar panel on my boat lift so I can disconnect the power without cutting the wires. Thank you again.

Great for adding trolling motor to kayak
Used to adapt trolling motor for kayak . Easier to connect and disconnect than common sta-con male/female connectors as well as heavier and wider contact area. Should give less voltage drop and longer battery life. Makes expensive trolling motor components easier to remove and secure when yak is left unattended. Overall well worth the extra money over standard connectors and I believe, more dependable than "cigarette lighter" type plug and sockets.

Alternate use
Used to replace a failed quick disconnect for my kicker alternator cable. Works perfectly and fast delivery to get me back on the water.

Know a little connection
I don't like the positive side is not the same as negative. It will not fit into the batter terminal. I have enlarged it to fit my 8mm bolt.

as advertised
No Problems with the product at all. I bought this online because it said there were none in stock at my local store.... it took 10 days to get it ( it was shipped via US Postal Service...way too long) and as it turns out, my local store DID carry it (glad it did not cost to ship) Always check yourself before ordering online.

Ring terminal too small
I had to drill out the small ring terminal to get it to fit the battery terminal screw

Wire I Ticked Off?
The idea of a quick-connect set up for my MK 50lb trolling motor was appealing. I even called Minn Kota to be sure this was right for my motor. The problem? The wires on my motor are much thicker than those of this adapter kit. Also, as others have pointed out, the loop on the positive lead is too small for the bolt on the battery post. I chose not to install this kit. It would cheapen my motor. Very pleased with all other MK products I've bought: Motors, charger, power center. The shortcomings of this kit don't make sense.
