Minwax Gel Stain, Walnut, 1 Quart

I used this product on our garage doors. The gel was perfect for this vertical project. I ended up using a foam roller for the application; this process was easy and made a huge improvement.

I also see no color fading in the 15 years I've been using MinWax. Just cannot say enough good things about it. Customer for life.

I have used Minwax stains for many years while building houses. This new gel product is easier to use, more forgiving, better coverage. I recently used it on very difficult to stain maple cabinets and it worked fantastic, very even coat, no blotches, wonder natural look. Most highly recommended.

First time using gel stain and super happy with the results. Using hickory on stair banister and posts to match new floors. Great coverage and couldn't be easier. Cleaned all parts to be stained, light sand and applied with a sock. Very happy with the results.

I googled to see if there was a wood stain that will cover over painted wood. MinWax came up. Bought it and SO HAPPY I did!! It is flippin beautiful!! I didnt sand my base board either. Base boards were painted white. Wanted wood look. Very much recommend this product!!!!

The picture shown is the older version of this stain. The new version is now "semi-transparent". I had 2 of my garage doors completed with the older version of this stain and bough this because the can matched what I had. When it arrived, it was not the can that was pictured, it was the new can that is "semi-transparent", which does not match

I received semi-transparent stain. Photo showed sold stain not semi-transparent. Does it not exist or did I get the wrong stain?

Product came damaged and it wouldn't close properly. Opened to use and it dried out due to can being horribly dented and wouldn't close. I forgot to check before purchasing if I could return to Walmart. After it arrived damaged, I checked and it wasn't returnable to the store. So I got one time use for $22. Waste of money and time.
