This has lasted since early April (it's basically June now) and still looks and acts brand new! There's no sound thankfully. The electricity is mind blowing to my little boys. The size is perfect for any desk, night stand, etc. Overall, very happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend:)

We have about 6 of these through my house! They are long lasting and they do not break easily if at all! We love these and will keep adding to our collection.

I just got this today. I had a larger version many years ago that I got from Spencer's gifts, that I loved, I thought this one also came with the music version that the electric would dance to. It doesn't, but it isn't in the description. That is NOT a minus. This little unit, was actually bigger than I expected, the base can be set to a number of colors as steady, or a fluctuating of all the colors it offers! LOL! I have to add that, they do not disclose, in the description, nor the instructions, an added surprise, to this wonderful product. I discovered hours later, and it's in the plasma ball itself. I will leave that up to all of you, I don't want to spoil the surprise. Wow, it's epic super cool! I highly recommend this!!!

My daughter had asked me for a lamp like this one, and after reading the good reviews it had, I bought it. What a surprise! It was a great purchase at a very reasonable price. I am very satisfied.

This is actually a pretty cool little toy for twenty dollars closest to music.And it's great for nightlight. the actual globe part of it is made of hard plastic.It is not made of glass. it is all so extreme low wattage, so it's probably a little safer for kids.

The instructions say the gasses that create the effect only last for 40 hours. That means it costs 50 cents per hour before it must be thrown out. Cute lamp but lifespan is far too short to make even a $20 investment in it.

When u order this online they ship a used one with food marks on it that they know doesn't work that someone else returned I think. Now I have to return another item from this order that will negatively effect my account, have to take a bus 1 hr to a store to get refund %26 go through ones at the store to make sure it all works %26 will get it that way otherwise I have to find something else to buy for an over 35 bucks order to get free shipping again for a new one. Scammers

Sadly this arrived broken. The zip zap electrical part didn't work. But the base lights changed and provided lots of colors, so that was pretty and nice. But we were excited about the electrical part and it didn't work at all.
