I TRIED THE HAND RUBBING, GOT REAL TIRED OF THE LOT OF RUBBING, BOUGHT THIS SETUP, PUT IT ON MY DRILL, AND FINISHED LIGHT VERY QUICKLY, LESS THAN 5 MINUTES ON EACH LENSE. I ALSO DID MY TAIL LIGHTS, WHICH DID IMPROVE VISUALITY. IT COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO DO THIS (HAVE TO DO) BORING JOB. I DID 2 CARS AND HAD PRODUCT LEFT OVER, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I wish I had taken before photos. I used this on a 2009 vehicle I had not driven for quite a while. The reason I purchased this kit was because the first time I drove my 2009 vehicle in the dark one morning I had to pullover to make sure my headlight were actually on they were so dim. My headlights were really yellow and cloudy. After using this kit they were so clear they actually looked better than the 2017 car I've been driving. So much so that I am going to use the kit the 2017 too.
i have used this product kit for years, this is a replacement because one of the kids took my other one. Takes about 1/2 hour per lens on average, but the results are worth the time plus it last a long time, highly recommend 👍🏻
i don't own a drill, did it by hand, impressive results, it really does work....the amount in the bottle is more than enough for two vehicles, highly recommend...worth every penny
2 years ago I used the toothpaste and baking soda application. Not very effective. I was very surprised that his formulation took off the yellow fog in less than an hour for both headlights (including the time spent masking tape around the lenses). The washer/clamp holding the sponge applicator to the spindle did come loose and thought it might scratch the plastic headlights. Poked it back into place with a flat head screwdriver and carried on. Impressed with the results. Might drop cards on cars with dim headlights in parking lots to make a gig business of cleaning up nasty headlights. It's so easy.
Product and procedure worked extremely well on my wife's 08 Accord. The results were astonishing, restoring lenses that were horribly yellowed. I did not have a variable speed drill due to dead batteries, so the majority of the work I did by hand. I actually did not mind, because I felt like I had far more control. I was able to use my regular drill for the polishing stages. In the end the results were unbelievable. The lenses look and perform almost like new.
This product got my headlights looking brand new! I have a Scion TC 2006 and the headlights looked so foggy you couldn't see the light-bulb inside. After using this 4 step process the headlights looked like factory. Rather than covering up the oxidization this actually strips it off leaving the headlights crystal clear.
This product does work very well. If you follow the instructions to specific order, the results will surprise you.
works better than I thought it would. new headlights would have been $357 for the set. I had nothing to lose at $24 so gave it a go the result was new headlights. They look as good as new.
Easy to use, just follow the directions. Worked perfect, headlight lens look like new!
