Fuel filter was molded SHUT! Cost $400 in repairs
We always use Motorcraft oil and fuel filters due to the quality of their products. This was the first time ever ordering one through WalMart and we will never make that mistake again. My husband has changed his own oil %26 fuel filters hundreds of times. This time I convinced him to order our filters through WalMart since they were so much cheaper, but still Motorcraft. Big mistake. He installed the new fuel filter, like he has hundreds of times before, but this time the truck wouldn't start. It would crank but not turn over. He cycled it several times and finally gave up... wondering if there's something wrong with the truck. We had it towed to the dealership. They took the fuel filter off and determined that it was molded SHUT!! We learned that just because it says Motorcraft doesn't mean it's the same as the one you buy at O'Reilly's. It cost us $400 and was due to no fault of ours at all.

wrong parts and wrong parts number I needed %23FD4615 and I got %23FD4616 The price was great but now my truck is sitting without a fuel filter on the street smh

Not Motorcraft Ford Product
The engine mounted filter was NOT a Motorcraft Ford filter. It looked fine when receivied and inspected but it failed from the beginning. It was crap. Truck would not start because fuel could not get through filter. Had to purchase another full kit, replace the filters and truck started right up. DO NOT BUY.

JUNK... Top filter was plugged, out of the box. defective! this is probably why they are so cheap. new on shelf filters are $108 and up. do not buy. fuel would not flow, at startup, after a proper eng prime, was done. removed new filter, reinstalled old top filter, and ran perfect, could not blow air thru the new filter either.

The top diesel filter broke in half after 3 minutes of use. Proof of videos are available on request with the presence of the mechanic . I have a video which shows the diesel popping out . Unacceptable.

Shipping was late, had to actually drive into town and purchase it again to be able to perform the needed maintenance to my truck before taking it on a long trip.

Defective filter
I installed this filter yesterday and found the upper fuel filter to be defective. The filter was blocked and will not allow fuel to circulate. The filter item cannot be returned because it is passed the return window of 30 days. Never had a problem with Motorcraft parts before.

6.7 L Diesel Fuel Filter Fitment
Filters are exactly what you need for a 2015 FORD F350 Super Duty 4X4 Dually with the 6.7 L Diesel engine in it. At the time, it was a life saver. Only issue I had and have, is that the under hood filter is molded about an 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch off, so it doesn't want to twist completely in place. If it wasn't for that issue, it would be 100% 5 Star rated. Even though it was molded improperly, it still works and does its job.
