This is the filter Ford recommends for its vehicles. It is of high quality, fits perfectly, and the gasket is substantial enough to ensure a tight grip and leak proof fit on the base. Motorcraft filters are a good synthetic media filter. My one dislike is that the housing is not very strong (less strong than they used to be). When putting it on and taking it off, you can feel that the housing is pushed to its limits. Meaning if it is turned on extra tight by someone, it might deform making it really hard to get off.

This is the filter that came with my 2024 Ford Maverick. I tried another top brand but 2 times in a row the package was damaged but the filter was ok. I decided to go with Fords filter. It arrived in perfect condition.

It did not fit our 2025 Ford Ranger. There is a different filter for 2025/2026 Ford Rangers so we had to go buy one from O'Reilly's during our oil change.

This is the second item in 2 weeks that walmart canceled on me. It seems like when i find a good price on something and order it, walmart screws me over. Pretty bad way to treat a loyal Wal-Mart member.

Walmart generally offers the OEM Motorcraft oil filters at a lower prices compared to other places. Walmart can still lower it more. They used to be much lower a few years back.
