This is the filter Ford recommends for its vehicles. It is of high quality, fits perfectly, and the gasket is substantial enough to ensure a tight grip and leak proof fit on the base. This is the only filter model all my Fords and Lincolns have ever used, so I have bought many, and all the filters I have purchased have performed flawlessly. Walmart generally offers the OEM Motorcraft oil filters at a lower prices compared to other places. Walmart can still lower it more. They used to be much lower a few years back.

Some oil filters are getting hard to find. I believe that Walmart is doing a good job trying to keep them in stock.

Motorcraft filters are a good synthetic media filter. My one dislike is that the housing is not very strong (less strong than they used to be). When putting it on and taking it off, you can feel that the housing is pushed to its limits. Meaning if it is turned on extra tight by someone, it might deform making it really hard to get off.
