Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Capacity Programmable Drip Coffee Maker, Red

This is the perfect coffee pot for me. I love the wider design of the basket and I would suggest a perm filter. Pause and serve and programable and you have a button for a stronger brew if needed This would be a great gift to give to anyone. The price is not bad either.

It does not make the full cups of what I ask it to do if I put 6 cups of coffee, it makes four if I put 12, it makes 10 the water seems to linger in the filter so my coffee does not taste as strong since it has not fully percolated with all of the grounds. Very disappointed for a Mr. coffee since I've had a Mr. coffee before.

Pouring water or coffee from the pot requires motor skills and cognitive function that the average pre-coffee human is easily capable of. It's a messy and wasteful process. The reservoir is also fond of dumping several ounces of the water you worked so hard to put into it either onto your counter, or into the coffee pot. The ability to set the machine up to brew ahead of time is handy considering it takes 30 minutes for it to finish brewing. The water pump died just outside of the return window.

I've only purchased Mr Coffee coffee makers, because they last forever, work very well and have a carafe that is very easy to use and does not spill. Something is wrong with the construction of this style coffee maker as the carafe lid has much water on top due to heavy condensation under the lid of the unit. Ever time I pour a cup of coffee there is water on my counter top.

I just received this coffee maker today, our old one broke and this one was on sale so I thought I was getting a good deal. I plugged it in and set it up, I filled the back with water and it almost immediately started leaking from the bottom. I didn't over flow it, it's coming from a hole on the bottom. I've read reviews on how to fix this and I can't even get into the unit to fix it since it has one screw that I've never even seen a screwdriver for. I will probably return this if I can't fix it.

I was looking forward to having this as a backup. I opened it to make sure it is not broken. It has been used. There are water spots on the coffee pot and the inside of the coffee pot is wet. The carafe wasn't even in the original packaging. This is the 4th product I have ordered from Wal-Mart that has been used or damaged when I received it. Will try to get a replacement for this one but I may stop shopping Wal-Mart altogether.

I bought this red coffee maker a couple of months ago. I went to pour a cup from the pot while it was full and the glass pot broke right where the handle is attached. I didnt get burned but it went all over the place. I cant even find a replacement pot for it? UGH

They don't show or list how peculiar this product is. All my life, with Mr. Coffee or any other similar product, the lid flips open from front to back. This stupid product flips up from right to left. Imagine if you place the coffee maker under a cabinet. Or if you're left-handed. Why they keep changing this simple coffee maker I'll never know. And, by the way, the clock is not illuminated, the water level gauge is WAY BACK on the side, and they gave it a 4-hour auto turn-off instead of the industry standard 2-hour turn off. I 'd like to drop-kick this piece of--- poor engineering. I will buy something different next time (soon) and NOT with poor illustration and unhelpful feature description--that means from somewhere else online.

I bought this coffee maker 3 times and each time I get it home it's damaged in someway. It's a process to get it returned. I'm only able to order on line and pick up so when it's damaged I have to find someone to take it back for me. I understand that things like this happens but 3 different times. That's too much!!a,

This was supposed to be a replacement for similar one delivered damaged ... seeing the box, anyone with any common sense would have known the contents would be damaged. 3 days later, keep checking still says "delayed", so I'm gonna cancel and get one from Amazon.
