Mr. Coffee Alderton 2.3 Quart Tea Kettle in Red

This is a beautiful., seemingly sturdy, pot. The whistle has a low pitch but it works. I hope it's as durable as it looks. I'm satisfied with this purchase.

This is the best tea kettle I have had in years. It is beautiful, functional, and works great, The whistle is a little quiet, but I can handle that seeing that I am usually in the kitchen doing other things when I am warming up my water. I loved it so much that I ordered more just to have them when it starts to get old and icky. I have really hard water where we live so the life span of any tea kettle is usually less than a couple of years. It has taken me months to find this one so when it starts to get icky, I want to have the same ones sitting in the packaging waiting to be opened. I am very happy with this purchase and think you will be too. Some people complained that it felt cheap, but it really is not. It is stainless steel but is not a heavy stainless steel so it does feel a little cheap but I think it is sturdy for what it is for. I mean its not like you are heating water and a grizzly bear might get a hold of it and damage it because it's not too sturdy.

If I could design my kitchen around one item, it would be this kettle. It is as nice as it looks. Cool touch handle, easy to use. Great Price. I have personally seen a competitor price that is double the price Walmart is asking.

Love this teapot..love that the handle actually "folds" down in order to fill pot and not have the handle in the way. Beautiful color. Heats up fast. Whistles really strong

Like the look and color. Do not like the lid - hard to come off to add water. It came apart once when I was pulling on it to take it off to add water. I screwed it back together but Now I just add water thru the pourer.

I love my kettle, but it has been leaking water from day one. I tested it to see if it was outside residue but no, its actually a leak and I threw away the packaging already.

The spout handle isnt covered with silicone and it is very very hot because the steam goes right on it

I love the color and style of this tea kettle. It has a lightness to it that makes it easy to handle as well. But that is where my admiration ends because the little flip top that covers the spout broke off the very first time I used it. Upon close inspection, the parts were flimsy and did not have the sturdiness I would expect from a classic teakettle. I ended up returning it and decided to look to other brands for a new teakettle.

To hot to handle. No matter how you pick it up you seem to get burnt. Poor design. For decoration only. Had to return ASAP.

Very nice for only the first use, then the whistle stopped and the tip would not stay open to pour water. Very cheap...very disappointed in Mr. Coffee.
