I first found this Mt. Comfort organic coffee at Costco %26 decided to give it a try. Most coffees are too "strong", "bitter" for our taste. Then, in typical Costco fashion, it was no longer available. I was so excited to find it at Walmart online and hope it remains in stock. If you like a mild, organic, whole-bean coffee, this is the one for you. The price is very reasonable as well. I highly recommend it!
This is a delightful coffee. You can grind as fine as cappuccino and still get the smooth, delicious taste. My wife likes a smoother coffee than I do and this is her favorite coffee.
After trying this for a week, I'm legally hooked on it now. . As the Best Buy for the price and it's healthy and it beats anything I've seen in the other store so thank you for creating this product.
Tasty coffee for a good price. I got this at Costco for a bit cheaper, but out of the blue (like usual) they stopped carrying it. Walmart had it for a few dollars more and very fast shipping.
This was the best coffee that Costco used to carry. We switched to Amazon before their prices started to climb. As it turns out, Walmart has the best prices we've found for this coffee. This is a great, smooth, medium-roast that blends well with everything from 8 o'clock's 100% Colombian to Dallmayr's Crema d'Oro. Good morning Texas.
Many coffee roasters selling from large on-line sites use only "best by" dates to indicate the state of their coffee. But "best by" dates tell little to nothing about the coffee's freshness. They neglect to give the purchaser the actual date the coffee was roasted, making it impossible to tell its actual freshness which diminishes fairly rapidly over time from roasting the day much like bread does from its baking date. usually best about a week to three weeks after roasting, as noted by many professionals. If super-large coffee sellers like Walmart switched to roast dates, consumers would benefit from it by being easily able to formulate their own "best by" dates.
The Mt. Comfort Peruvian blend is a light roast with ample flavor and it is very smooth. Not at all bitter. It goes very well with a chocolate biscotti for an afternoon treat.
I wanted to try this low acid coffee. Easier on the stomach, but the took out the flavor when they removed the acidity. My wife thought the exact same thing. You struggle to taste the coffee. I drink straight up, no sugar... It is like drinking hot water. I had to go buy some more coffee.
This coffee is probably good if you aren't a big fan of coffee. It tastes a bit nutty and it's fine. It's a good value for the fact that it's organic. But it's not a true medium- it's actually super mild tasting.
I was excited to try this organic coffee with such a good price! Unfortunately, i have not enjoyed it, finding that it tastes very acidic and not very delicious. :(
