The pasta, cooked as per directions on the cup, comes out like a chalky puck of obviously-fortified pasta, not the worst protein pasta I've had, but it's not good. The flavor is strange too, it tastes vaguely like cheap mac-n-cheese, but with a strange sour aftertaste, definitely worse than even the cheap Great Value single serve macaroni cups, somehow. Overall, I think if they used more of the milk-based whey protein as opposed to the vegetable based pea protein that they used, it would probably have more of that slightly cheesey, milk-like flavor that whey protein has, instead of the bitter taste of the pea protein. At least it's got decent nutritional macros though, despite the taste and texture.
