I use this mainly because it keeps cold sores way . It's great for that along with all the other, but best for cold sore

L-Lysine has been a daily supplement of mine for years. You don't get this amino acid in a MultiVitamin. It's mostly found in meats %26 salmon and it's crucial for the immune system. If you can't get enough protein in your daily diet and are prone to getting cold sores; this will help as a defense against those.

Within 2 days my fever blisters were gone or smaller and drying out

I purchased Nature Made L-Lysine because it is supposed to help with both anxiety and hair loss. I haven't been taking them long enough to know if they are going to help with hair loss. But I do feel that I have less anxiety. The reason I gave this product four stars instead was f five, is because they are so large in size. I physically cannot swallow them, so I have to cut them up into pieces. Which is an inconvenience. But maybe most others wouldn't have an issue swallowing them. I do love Nature Made products, I buy many regularly.

Had terrible nausea when taking this for a year or two that was every day, all day, it also didn't help to prevent cold sores really. Once I stopped taking it, my nausea went away pretty quickly. It may not happen with every person or most, but just a heads up.

tablets are too large to swallow easy

Lysine, 1000mg. I bought these and it's too bad a person doesn't know the SIZE of the tablet before buying these. When a person is over 85+ years, some elderly people would not find it easy to swallow the size of these tablets! i am sure the ingredients of these tablets are acceptable, but PLEASE, I have to return these because they are too big to swallow!!
