[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Capsules, easy to swallow. There is no taste unless you let it dissolve in your mouth. There isn't much of a scent. I take them with water. Not sure of the effects yet. They have magnesium in them and that is supposed to be good for you. I haven't had any hot flashes since I started taking this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Nature's Way Black Cohosh root supplement free of charge, for testing purposes only, in return for my honest and unbiased review. I am about to be 51 years old and have had a hysterectomy. I have one ovary left. I know that is personal but it goes with the reason I wanted to try this product. It has been since 2019, and of course it is now 2026. 2026 so my doctor said that my ovary could start failing me at 5 years and it is past that date. I'm having hot flashes, trouble sleeping, & mood swings, which of course go along with the territory. The recommended dosage of the supplement is 1 to 3 pills a day. So far I have been taking 2 per day, and I had started out with 1 just to make sure that it was going to be a good fit for me. I am already on a few medicines, so I don't want to add too much to my regimen at the moment, until I see how they are going to affect me in longer terms. I'm not claiming that this product cures any ailments or symptoms. My own experience is that I seem to be having a bit less irritability, and my sleep has improved. Again. I'm not sure how, but it coincided with testing this product, so make of that what you will. This black cohosh supplement has not given me any heartburn or adverse effects. I like the fact that there is no discernible smell when you open the bottle. I am going to recommend this to my sister who is 18 months older than I am, and having some of my same age-related issues. She is big on natural supplements so this may be a good product for her. I recommend it to family, friends and the public in general. It seems to be a good product and worth the money.
