I have had one for many years. When it stopped working I was happy to find this item still available at a reasonable price. Had a fancier, more expensive one that I gave away due to the difficulty in using.

This machine is perfect for keeping frozen food fresh and avoiding freezer burn. I have bought three of these...one for my home, one for my vacation home and most recently one for my daughter. These compact machines look great on the counter or store easily away inside a kitchen drawer, pantry or in a rarely used cupboard in the kitchen. I have both the 11 inch wide and 7 inch wide sealer rolls which are easily switchable when wrapping food as you just set them in the dispenser part, unroll and cut to the desired size. A steak, hamburger, pork chop or anything can be defrosted easily by setting the package in cool or warm water without any leakage to the meat. No more throwing away brown looking meat with ice on the outside for me. I promise you, you will love this nifty kitchen necessity.

It work great frozen some strawberries waiting on green beans and squash to come in and I will freeze some vegetables. The seal meal is so great if you don't have one I recommend you buy one. It's good for cutting Food into.

I have used this item a couple of times since purchased. When you just seal a bag it is quite and when you vacuum seal the noise is quieter then the one I had. I like the storage space and the cutter gives me a nice straight cut. Thanks Nesco for a good product at a decent cost.

As an older person with arthritis, I find it challenging to snap the lid down prior to vacuum/sealing, etc. I think it's a bad design for anyone with issues with their hands. I think they could have done a better job in securing the lid before operating. As a service to potential buyers, advise them that they may issues in securing the lid snapping in place.

When you unit works it works very well. There seems to be an issue with the buttons. It will vacuum and seal 5 or 6 times and then won't. You need to slide the switch to extended then back to reset it. Other than that it works well.

the buttons on each side is very hard for old people to push diwn.

I cant seem to get it to suck out the air. I am going to keep trying because I could be doing something wrong but since I am no stranger to these sealers I doubt it highly. Have contacted company support and not much help so at this time I would say to stay clear of this machine. It is also very large and the lock buttons dont seem to work.

Could not get it to seal. So frustrating. Cheap made, feel like it's just plastic I thought Nesco was a good brand. Could not get bags to cut even, I would Not recommend. Not worth the money. I am returning.
