New Nintendo 3DS XL Pikachu Yellow Edition

My son loves it!

I wanted to update from my first generation 3DS and this one was perfect! I love Pikachu... I had trouble turning on the system when it first arrived but removing the screws from the back and taking out the battery fixed the problem for me. I like the microSD card slot being inside the battery cover, I'm not sure about the game card being on the bottom left of the system, though. I feel like I might accidentally push it down and the game will come out one day. Hopefully there's an update where a cover can protect the card from being shown. The screen is beautiful and bright. Everything is very clear, colorful, and crisp. I love the new options for the brightness and the little circle pad. The 3DS also seems to connect faster to the internet, or maybe I'm just imagining it. It can still play DS games which I love, too. The DS games resolution is not so crisp compared to the DSi, but the big screen makes up for it. I love how snug the stylus fits in the system. All of my previous DS series systems had a loose stylus holder. The fact the start and select buttons are not at the bottom of the touch screen makes me so happy, too. Overall, great system. The Pikachu edition system is perfect for all Pokemon fans.

Great overall service and items

I did not realize it didn't come with a charger, and there is just enough battery life to very quickly go through the set up on it. I bought it for my son as an early birthday gift and barely was able to finish doing the initial set up for it. You will have to buy a charger for this item.

Was very disappointing that it doesnt come with a charger so I had to find one online since no stores in town have any. Other than that, great product but seems silly that it comes dead with no way to charge it. Especially since it has a unique charger that I've never seen with any other nintendo products.

the 3ds works fine but I am still waiting for email on the warranty . 48 dollars for a warranty with no info is not worth anything to me

When we gave my son this product the games won't read on the DS. It will not load any games off the cartilage. Unfortuanitly this is now useless and the seller hasn't contacted to ether refund or send a different one to us. Expensive price for an item that dosent work.

Apparently these are refurbished/ used, and I didn't see that in the description. When mine arrived, it wouldn't charge. Had to return it for a full refund.

Purchased for grandson for birthday his family was in the process of moving so they did not let him open it right away when he did open item did not work. Contacted Walmart who said to contact supplier they did not respond so sent back to Nintendo and they want to charge me 100.00 to repair item and only warranty it for 90 days had them send it back. Have very sad 7 year old who was so excited when he received it and now and brand new item that does not work

We received the 3DS and it didn't work at all. It would not start so I had to ship it back for a refund.
