When I purchased this item the local store was out of stock and it took about two months before I finally received the item. I was ready to cancel the order and buy from another source when it finally did arrive and am glad I waited. I did review the comments prior to the purchase and I have to wonder if the complainers bothered to level their units before installing them. I did level it before installation and it has been installed and running now for about 5 weeks and I am very happy with it. It is virtually silent and I have a ceramic tile floor in the kitchen where it is installed (no sound dampening). This is mounted under the counter top between cabinets, but it does have adequate air space and the compressor almost never runs, even with both sides full and set to low temperatures. The handle installation was a bit of a hassle and the instructions did not match the actual manufacturing method, but this was only a minor nuisance. In closing I would state that I would purchase again and would recommend this to anyone looking for a cooler this size.
I was so excited about finally seeing our kitchen remodel come to an end only to go to the our beverage refrigerator in to find two shelves missing. I reached out to Gabby at Newair, and with a few easy questions and email. Newair took care of us. So I now can fully enjoy our new kitchen. Thank you so much
We purchase this unit over the summer. My family loves it. The looks great in our living room and the kids love the blue Led lights when they get their juice boxes. My wife and I love the room for our wine and it keeps our main refrigerator open for food. It was a great purchase.
Recently bought the Newair 24" Beverage Fridge for my lake house and I love it. The dual zone feature is awesome! I really like being able to keep my beverages (beer) at one temperature and my wife's wine at another. This fridge looks great and frees up so much space in my regular kitchen refrigerator. This is a great addition to any home bar or kitchen.
Our Newair unit looks great! We also like the multi-functional aspect, wine on one side and beverages of all types on the other. The adjustable shelves on the beverage side allow us to place beer and soda cans as well as taller water bottles. The lighting is very cool!
Arrived on time as promised by Walmart yet packaging did not contain keys nor user guide. Note doors come locked. After calling Newair support I was told no problem, just send the e-receipt. 4 days later no response. Called again and told key were on back order. Then told I would receive keys in 5-7 business days. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Of all the units I have looked at this was the most flexible by far. For a unit this size to have flexible shelves, dual temperatures and two locking doors really makes this a super functional wine and beverage fridge and meets all our needs. Additionally it is a beautiful high end looking unit and the french doors are space efficient for a small room.
I bought this unit on Dec 6, 2018 in preparation of completing my in home bar. Everything seemed to be going well until last night. I went downstairs to get something and noticed a puddle of liquid on the floor in front of cooler. 3 bottles of my wine that I had shipped from a SC winery had apparently froze causing the corks to pop. My wine spilled out into cooler seeping onto the floor. I was shocked because I know the temperature is never set below 62-64. After removing all the bottles out cooler I see there's frost on the back. I did see another review on this page with a customer who experienced the same issue and stated it had something to do with "temperature sensor". Needless to say I will be contacting New Air within the next few days.
Looks very nice, a bit noisy as others has mentioned. Overall while functioning was great product and plenty of space. You can adjust the wine racks which is helpful for different sized bottles. After about 4 months of use the temperature sensor went out but customer service has been helpful getting a replacement and have responded quickly.
The new air has been the most reliable beverage refrigerator we've owned. Keeps all the beer and wine chilled, quiet enough, no fluctuations. We purchased one for our son and daughter in law last year and they love it. We needed to replace our old one and are happy we went with New Air!
