I am pleasantly surprised with the range of the wireless cameras. I haven't mounted them permanently yet but soon...that will be the real test. The cameras will be 90 feet from the NVR. The claim is up to 300 feet...we'll see!!

I like everything about this system; the clear resolution, the night vision, being able to communicate with whoever is outside, the price, the number of cameras… I like it all!
We bought this to install while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. Even though they are just temporarily set up we can see what is going on at home when we are 1700 miles away. Can't wait to set cameras permanently and learn more about the features of Night Owl.
Great product, it was recommended by my neighbor, and for the cost it does exactly what it's suppose to. HIGHLY recommend this product if you desire a cost effective video system. My only complaint is the location of the antennae on the camera, makes it difficult to have the camera facing to left side.
easy set and no monthly fee
Fast delivery of product as shown and promised. Cameras were easy to install, but the DVR/NVR setup was not all that simple or as easy as expected. After several reboots and needing to create a DDNS ID, Password and Domain name we were finally able to get the system set up and configured to our personal preferences. The camera quality is outstanding! Wide view and bright colors in daylight and crystal clear B&W images at night. I've owned two prior systems from another company and I will never go back after seeing the Night Owl perform.
This is an awesome surveillance system for the price...it's super easy to get up and running. Picture quality, color, and clarity is fine. I also added the camera door bell. It integrated well.
So far so good seems to be working like it should clear picture. Easy to install yourself Phone app works pretty good. Going to add a couple of more cameras maybe a solar and see how they work. Far as the plug-ins working as predicted. Just had, for two weeks we'll see how long it gives me good performance.
Worst purchase ever! I bought a device that was already connected to a device and I had to figure it out on my own! night owl has no way to contact support for customers with this issue they actually hung up on me Walmart wouldn't let me leave it as an exchange because it was passed the 30 days before I figured out that it was already hooked up to another device DO NOT BUY THIS $400.00 waste of money
