Norpro 6" tortilla maker

Read reviews before getting - one review really helped - put a sheet of plastic down before you press dough - then it won't stick and very little clean up! So glad to have this - rolling out Tortillas took forever to make enough for a family!

I wish I had known about this before I was rolling the chapatis and tortillas by hand. Absolutely love it! It has been a great way to make the tortillas more even. Would highly recommend this, especially if you are making many.

It's very light and not heavy like most of them. It makes the size of the tortillas well and equally flat all around

It is great! No, I am not making perfect tortilla, but it isn't the fault of the press! I am very, very out of practice. The press is light, easy to clean , and easy to store away.

It works very well. Follow the directions and they will turn out.

I have tried making tortillas without a press and it is definitely more time consuming. I recommend using wax paper between the dough and the press (the dough will stick to it and be a pain). It flattens well and works the way I imagine they all do. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the handle feels a bit weak. I wouldn't be surprised if after awhile the handle snaps. It does say not for the dishwasher, so keep that in mind.

My tortilla press was delivered right on time! Thank you very much. It's a little more flimsy than I expected. But it's alot like the one my mother in law had. (May she rest in peace.) Im hoping, that with practice, it will help me make her recipes easier. Homemade tastes the best.

The Norpro Tortilla press is really simple to use. Easy to clean. the only draw back I had was that it was alot smaller then I expected. when I made my tortillas I ended up rolling them out a little more as I wanted them slightly larger then what this flattens them too. all though it makes a good size for other things such as personal torts etc.

I bought this for my husband who use to make fresh tortillas with his grandmother. He was happy to recieve but when we started using the press the tortillas came out too small and too thick.
