Truly an excellent purchase
Finally after purchasing I ( believe) 3 cheap plastic basters that had a very short life I am so pleased with the Stainless Steel Baster. Truly a professional tool for the kitchen. Best purchase I made in a long long time.

Definitely A Winner
I love the fact that the body is metal along with the injection needle. It doesn't hold onto flavors. And the cleaning brush that comes with it, makes cleaning so much easier.

Norpro Basterr with Brush And Injection Needle
This is a very good baster and will be used often when making roasts. It has an injection needle to add liquid marinade inside the meat. This needle can then be unscrewed to pick up liquid from the roaster and keep the meat moist as it cooks. This tool is very well made and looks as though it will last for many years. We are very satisfied with this purchase. We would definitely recommend this item to anyone who enjoys cooking and takes pride in offering gourmet dinners to their guests.

Great gadget
Had one of these for years and lost it. This one is even better as it comes with its own brush and injector. Arrived quickly and I am very glad I was able to find another one. It doesn't melt when you pick up hot broth with it.

Baster falls apart!
Tried to use the stainless baster Christmas Eve to bast a prime rib and the stainless piece separated too easily from the rubber bulb and fell into the bottom of the broasting pan. What a total waste of time and money! It appears that the lip on the stainless tube is so small that it won't securely stay inside the bulb! Save yourself some time and money and look elsewhere for a gravy baster!!

Packaging and Mother Earth
This is a great baster. It's worth 5 stars. But the packaging isn't. This nonbreakable small flat item came in an oversize box stacked with pleated papers. Now WHY? Please revisit your packaging and be friendlier to the Earth.
