Just great for getting that "other" foot out of the tub. I have an old injury that makes it impossible to get that foot raised as high as needs to be when the other foot is on the floor and this puts me at the right "height" so I'm so much safer! Really don't like the rough surface but it will never be slick or unsafe.

I love the step stool I got from Walmart. I use it inside the tub as I have a low stool Outside the tub but had trouble stepping out of the tub as I am 81 yrs old and have metastic cancer to my bones. This has been a great tool to help me to continue living on my own.

This step stool is an absolutely wonderful aid to getting in and out of the bathtub for me! It was easy to assemble. Im a wobbly, obese, 5 ft 11 in tall, 65-yr old woman who walks with the assistance of a cane or a walker. This stool has a very study base and handle. But, I still feel the need to brace myself with one hand on the handle and one on my tub-enclosure shelf while stepping in/out of the bathtub. A bath rug that matches my bathroom decor folded in half over the surface is a great solution to the too-rough-for-my-comfort non-slip surface. Also, with the help of this low-height stool and my tall stature, I installed shelf liners on the top shelves of my kitchen cabinets all by myself! This step stool provides a safe, secure and confidence-inducing way to accomplish tasks that were scary or impossible to do without it. A great buy!

I'm definitely able to say it was worth thr purchase, considering I got it on sale, but it has its flaws. The product arrived chipped with a bit of rusty/ redish brown discoloration and powder substance in the bags containing the components of the stool. It could stand to be a bit wider, and as others, I found the blue grip to be a bit rough, and keep a towel over it to step out. I have also noticed a tendency for the product to tilt when too much force is applied during transfer into the tub, or beginning to transfer out, which is certainly not ideal. This could be due to my using it lengthwise, rather than width, with the handle in front of me, rather than to my side, due to the small size of my bathroom and large size of the claw foot tub. It was easy to assemble, and has helped me safely transfer in and out of my tub though, so, overall, I'm pleased with it. It could stand to have a soft grip handle like other similar products to prevent slipping of hands, and to make it a bit more ergonomical. Solid 3.5-4 Stars.

Item arrived with shipping box damaged and item itself came damaged and screws were not contained but all over box. Item is not safe to use, one leg is bended.

This item is bent on base. I noticed after I put it together. The leg is separating at corner. It says no returns so Am I stuck?

part was damaged when i received it. i will be returning it.

I disliked the fact that the item could not be returned even unopened. itembeas too small. i should have read small print which stated , in grayed out lettering, all sales final. I will be more careful wjen ordering from Walmart since returns are iffy.

Not very sturdy. The blue ribbed center did not extend out to edge which would be very slick and slippery when stepped on with wet feet. Used once by covering base with a towel. Next day ordered a different one. Afraid of falling when exiting the tub. Not worth taking the chance.
