Acetyl L-Carnitine crosses the blood brain barrier and scavenges for cancer. Very little can do that. Sesquiterpene essential oils can also. I use ALC along with Cognium and a natural multivitamin with methylfolate and iodine to short circuit the nueropathway and biological conversion of alcohol to cancer. Scientists found silk proteins from mulberry leaves eaten by the silk worm interrupted the alcohol to cancer pathway. Methylfolate is also used to convert antioxidants into productive use in the body via the MTHFR gene, which can become mutated at C677T and A1298. These are essentially the cancer and atherosclerosis gene. So take methylfolate. Also, cyanocobalamin is made from cyanide. Two doctors told me to stop taking bu it. I use methylcobalamin now instead. Good luck and God bless and pray for the FDA to change for the better. We export folic acid and cyanocobalamin and it’s lethal. Thank you.

Good Quality, Fair Price, Still Evaluating Results
I like the quality of NOW Foods Acetyl L Carnitine 500 mg. The ingredient profile is clean and straightforward, and the capsules are easy to take. NOW is a brand I generally trust, and this product feels consistent with that reputation. As far as results, it seems to be helping, but I am still evaluating it. I may not be taking a high enough dose yet to fully judge its impact. I have noticed subtle improvements in focus and overall mental energy, but nothing dramatic at this point. The price is very fair for what you get, which makes it easy to continue using while I dial in the dosage. Overall, good contents, reasonable price, and promising so far. I plan to keep using it and see how it performs long-term.
