NOW Supplements, Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, and Manganese, 250 Tablets

I was instructed by my doctor to begin taking Calcium Citrate to help prevent kidney stones. As I have been a fan of NOW brands for a while, I specifically searched for their calcium citrate. This specific formula also contains additional minerals, which is nice; however, the only downside I see is the tablet's size. If you have difficulty swallowing pills, it may pose a problem. Otherwise, I have not had another kidney stone, so while I can't definitively say that this is the sole reason, it's definitely worth the peace of mind, as anyone with a history of stones will know. As a side note, there is another option of the NOW brand Calcium Citrate, which is a capsule that is smaller, if you're one who struggles taking meds.

The pills are narrow and extremely easy to swallow. I did some research and noted how this supplement seems to have other ingredients that work together; less of a need to buy other bottles of pills. Initially, I got this pill for the bio available calcium compared to other supplements.

This product was everything I was looking for: brand name, quantity, potency, and all at the right price.

Calcium citrate is the most easily absorbed form of Calcium available according to my Doctor. I feel like it's a good quality product.

I like that this is a Calcium Citrate product, which is more easily absorbed by the body, however, it needs magnesium in order to work properly in the cells. Having the zinc and other trace minerals is a bonus, we have all been reading about zinc and it's usefulness in building up the immune system. So, all the way around this is a quality vitamin. I think NOW vitamins have quality built in.

I like the combination of supplements in this one and I trust the manufacturer.
