When you work with herbal remedies you work with powdered herbs and some capsules are half shells the same size, but at puritan's pride the capsules are sized long half with a shorter top cap that when pressed tight actually snaps into a locked position that you feel in your hands. Perfect for my needs and fast service. Once you open the bag store unused caps in a Mason type canning jar with a small desiccant pack. They will stay useable for a long time. Have bought 3 packs so far and will buy more in the future.

I was hoping to use these for a variety of purposes but I discovered that mini Jell-O shots is not one of them. Foiled again. But these empty gelcaps are on my team when it comes to herbs, powders and little love notes to my wife.

perfect for supplements you need but don't want to taste. I am doing the Iodine Protocol so I fill these with liquid Lugols Iodine and take a couple each day with sea salt.

This is a great tool for making holistic herbs easy to ingest.
