I purchased this for a chronic mucus problem due to a lung issue, and I felt results on the first day; way better than Mucinex, and with fewer side effects.

Although this supplement has many proposed uses, we use it for my sons OCD. It works well. He takes 2 pills once a day on an empty stomach. Not perfect, but a huge difference is seen in him not having to repeat certain actions he is compelled to do over and over. If we run out of the supplement, in 2-3 days those behaviors are returning. He has been taking these for over 2 years without side effects. On a side note, during that time he has had 1 sinus infection, with a very low grade fever as the only symptom. I mention that because these are also promoted to enhance your immune system. Of course I try to make sure he gets enough sleep, his stress levels are lower, he eats well and I also give him vitamin D and C certain days of the week. So I believe those factors also contribute to overall immunity and NAC alone would not keep you free from illness. For example, my other son who does not take NAC, finished kindergarten and 1st grade with no sick days on the books at all. I hope you can find the help you need from this supplement. I love these!! I use them everyday! I have trichotillomania, and although this supplement doesn’t completely take away the urge to pull. I now have eye lashes and eyebrow hairs! Again it’s not a cure, but it’s made a HUGE and extremely noticeable difference. I strongly recommend it.

I am not one for swallowing medication and these are so easy! Plus there is no nasty smell like some supplements have. I bought these because a friend told me that they would help my immune system. I use to have bronchitis all the time when I was younger . Hope these help! Also, these were delivered within 48 hours!

My skin becomes itchy after taking this product. I've stopped and tried again few times and always the same result. But I have a friend that is taking it with no issue. So I guess it's not right for some people so be careful. I since found out that NAC can cause this symptom in people something connected to the mast cells.

I've taken it for almost two weeks and have not felt a positive physical difference. In fact, I've developed a dull pain in my lower right gut, just under the rib cage.
