I take HealthForce Vitamineral Green Powder and absolutely love it. One of the reason is that it is the darkest green nutrient full powders I have tried. This means that you are getting high rich amount of clorophyll which your body craves. I bought this knowing that I could simply add it to juices or water throughout the day to get an energy boost alkalizing effect. And boy was I surprised. This powder is SOOO GREEN that it is almost black! Being organic with nothing else added I knew that it was pure green richness. It puts my other green powder to shame with the color. With the serving size only being a teaspoon I can easily add it to everthing and goes along way for the buck. You can also buy cheaper forms of green powder veggie and fruit mixes and add it for extra health benefits. I would highly recomend!!

According to a reviewer of this product on Amazon, they had spoken to NOW and was told that NOW's chorella was sourced from Taiwan (there are no U.S. growers except Hawaii). Taiwanese chorella is supposed to be high quality (and expensive). NOW also tests for contaminants. Chlorella is supposed to bind to heavy metals such as mercury (used in teeth fillings), aiding in detoxification. NOW's chorella is a dark green color, as it should be (some tablets are cut with calcium -- they have whitish specks). I mix a tsp. in a banana/yogurt/multivitamin-mineral powder shake. I haven't tried chlorella powder alone in water, but in a shake there's no noticeable taste.

I bought this product to boost energy, support fat loss, and help detox heavy metals like lead and mercury from my body. It has phytonutrients including amino acids, chlorophyll, beta-carotene, potassium, phosphorous, biotin, magnesium and the B-complex vitamins, along with iodine. Very absorbable.

I purchased this to add to our morning smoothise. It upset my stomach but my husband has no issues with it. It;s a great source of nutrition. I do wish it wasn't quite as messy to get out of the bottle though... maybe they can figure out a better way to get it out without all the mess. Overall though we are pleased with it and we're now on our 2nd bottle
