Now Vitamin's Saw Palmetto Extract is the one I trust the most at this time. I was using Swansons Saw Palmetto for many years and was surprised to see that its potency has to be questioned because the soft gels were the color of honey instead of the black color they should have been. Also, it was not effective at all. I changed to Now Vitamins and my problems are solved. I still buy other products from Swansons but not their Saw Palmetto Extract.

The Now Saw Palmetto 160 mg gel capsul is easy to take and an excellent choice.

I take Saw Palmetto extract along with Pumpkin Seed extract to combat hair loss. It works surprisingly well. I lose less hair and I can tell easily that new hair has come in and continues to stay. I first read about it online as an approved method to regrow hair. It does it's job well. Women can avoid the bottles that say “with zinc” in the ingredient list. It's o.k. for men to get extra zinc but women don't need as much.

I ordered three 240 count bottles. All 3 bottles have a Dec 2024 use by date. 2 of the bottles will be out of date when I use them.

Seems to be a good product. I've not tried it before...I'll find out! Good price but Swanson's discloses more info about their version with the "Supercritical CO2" precursor.

Since the local Walmart has DC'd the Natures Own brand Saw Palmetto gelcaps I had been taking for several years, this is the best alternative I could find.
