I feed the squirrels and raw walnuts in shell are the squirrels favorite. Don't feed squirrels peanuts. Raw Pecans in shell are squirrels 2nd favorite after raw walnuts in shell.

Raw walnuts in shell
I feed the squirrels during winter. Peanut is not that good for squirrels. No salt and most natural raw walnuts in shell are best.

this bag contains maybe 1 lb of good, edible walnuts. the rest are rotten! not worth the cost nor the work involved. I was ordering them in the shell hoping for and expecting nice fresh nuts. will not reorder

Buy in your local store. I ordered thru Walmart.
The first nut I opened was black. The rest were dry and tasteless. The squires did eat them. I think hey must have been picked two or three years ago, they were so dry.
