I loved six star casein but it's since been discontinued. So now I'm buying this casein. And although it's more expensive than six star, it's still pretty good quality for the price.

Good casein powder if you mix it well do not expect it to be like whey it thickens, so use it in Smoothies or Overnight oats

Casein protein is slow digestion. It is good to drink near bedtime, especially after a workout. It helps with recovery and muscle growth. It mixes easily in a shaker bottle. I use the chocolate flavor and it is good.

Its Casein Protein. Be prepared for a chunky almost (Grits like) texture. I mix it half and half with whey at night so I get the Casein slower absorption combined with the quick Whey absorption while I sleep.

gritty and protein is not as high as other powders i prefer.

The texture of this protein is not good. I ended up mixing it with regular Whey Isolate to tone it down some, as well as mix it a few hours with water before I added some milk to drink it.

I swore I checked the label for artificial sweeteners, anyway. The “sweet” is what kills this….far too sweet , weirdo twang. Usually love everything Nutricost.
