Nutricost Magnesium Glycinate Powder (250 Grams) Unflavored Supplement

I've been using this for my perimenopause hot flashes and night sweats. It works wonderfully. I usually put it in with my chocolate collagen powder and inositol, so if there is any funky taste I can't detect it. The powder dissolves well when you stir it, but it may leave a coating behind in the bottom of the glass. (either it's this or the inositol powder.) It's harmless and you can just stir it again and drink. Definitely a must buy if you're having hormonal problems.

Less digestive upset with this form of Magnesium

I originally got this to make a magnesium glycinate lotion for rubbing on sore joints. No matter what I did to it.... blender, food processor, mortar and pestle, it would not get fine enough to dissolve. Boiling it didn't help either. The cream came out gritty like sandpaper, rendering it unusable. Since the lotion was a bust, I tried taking it orally. Mixing it in water, it tasted kind of like a dead fish with sugar sprinkled on top. Then I tried putting it in coffee, tea, hot cocoa and warm milk. The weird fishy taste wasn't quite as bad, but it was still creepy. At the bottom of the cup, a lump of grit stared back at me. I had high hopes for this stuff. It didn't work out.

Do not yet know if it even works after a week of use but one thing is certain, this powder tastes like bad fish. Really bad taste that I have to load it up with lemon juice.
